Seeking a recent college graduate, located in the Wash DC, Virginia or Maryland area, who can support our customer on a remote basis with 1-2 visits per quarter to our clients Wash DC or Reston VA office. The selected Junior Technical Associate will assist our client's software production department with log reviews and distributions to the team to handle any service ticket issues within their software production environment. The selected candidate will help assist in the definition, designs, and development of system requirements. Helps coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system. Analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Conducts independent technical investigations in systems design.

Although this position is primarily remote, we are seeking candidates that reside in the DC, MD or VA area for 1-2 visits at our clients Reston VA or Wash DC office. This opportunity is a long term contract opportunity that could result in full-time employment. Required Skills

1. Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is REQUIRED with 1-2 years of professional experience
2. General knowledge of programming languages and web based technologies (flexible, Java/J2EE, Python or similar background acceptable)
3. Very Strong Communications Skills (both verbal and writing)
4. Basic knowledge around Jira
5. PowerBI = Big Plus
6. Ability to collaborate to solve technical problems across teams
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
